Jerry could hear the sound of the birds as he drew closer to the class. Esther looked at him but wasn't afraid. Nath was speechless because everything happened unexpectedly. He never thought of getting close to Esther talkless of kissing her.
"What did you just do?" Jerry entered sweating as a result of where he was coming from in a hurry just to pick his school bag.
"Guy, cool down" Nath said in a low voice.
"I wasn't talking to you!" He exclaimed.
Esther was still standing looking at both of them. Jerry passed and met Esther face to face. He said "I saw you kissed Nath, why?" Esther was still quiet.
"Answer me!" Jerry exclaimed.
Esther leaned back on a nearby locker and said, "I'm sorry, i never loved you"
Jerry was heartbroken all his body became weak. He was speechless. He wished to lay on someone's shoulder, a person who can tell him 'It shall be well'
Nath was surprise and also pitied him. He moved close to explain that it wasn't his fault but Jerry ignored him and went home sadly.
Esther and Nath were quiet for some moment. Nath picked his bag to leave but Esther held him.
"Get your hands off me!" Nath yelled at her. She was shocked at his loud voice.
"You better go and make up with Jerry" He said.
"But is you i want, i don't love him" Esther said in a tiny voice.
Nath adjusted his bag and turned. He said, "You know what? Neither do i love you. So go and make up with him" He went out.

On the following day, Elizabeth looked for Jerry but she couldn't find him. Catherine followed her to SS3B where Timothy was chatting with Rose and Karina. Every student in the class was doing one thing or the other when they entered. Karina who first saw them joking said, "This is not science class, go back to your class"
"I wonder oh, even this one here" Rose supported pointing at Timothy.
"So, you are not even happy that we came into this dump called Art class?" Catherine also joked.
"Why is Jerry not in school?" Elizabeth changed the Topic and tapped Timothy.
"Is true oh, we have not seen him" Rose added looking at Timothy who was quiet.
"Say something nah" Karina shouted at him.
"Come, am i his body guard?" Timothy asked.
"But at least you should know why he's not in school because you are close to him" Elizabeth insisted.
Benjamin also appeared in their mist. He stood beside Karina with his hand on her shoulder. "Who are you guys looking for?" He asked.
"Jerry" Karina replied him and removed his hand frm her shoulder.
"Jerry's heart is broken" Benjamin announced. Elizabeth looked at Catherine, Karina looked at Rose while Timothy opened a book he found on Karina's locker.
"What do you mean by his heart is broken?" Catherine asked.
"You should asked Esther" Timothy replied still with his eyes on the book.
It was clear to all of them that Esther might have broken up with Jerry. Catherine and Elizabeth went back to their class.
"But why would Esther break up with Jerry?" Karina asked Rose.
"He caught her kissing Nath" Benjamin replied the question meant for Rose. Timothy closed the book and looked at Benjamin. Karina was quiet. She couldn't explain how she felt that moment. She refused to speak to any of them until a teacher came in.

Elizabeth begged Catherine and Timothy to follow her to Jerry's house after school.
"Why do you want to go there?" Timothy asked.
"She needs to see him" Catherine replied him. Timothy looked at them and understood the situation. He agreed to follow and also show them Jerry's house.

Nath has refused to talk to Esther and Esther wasn't looking good about it. Nath told Alex everything that happened the previous day because he was the only person he trusted as a friend.
"Guy, relax, is not your fault. Jerry will understand" Alex told him.
"Seriously oh, i never thought of kissing Esther" Nath brought down his voiced. He also planned to apologise to Jerry.

School was over, Karina saw Esther entering their car. Esther looked back and both stared at each other. Meanwhile, Timothy, Elizabeth nah Catherine were on their way to Jerry's house.
