Sandra was summoned by Mr Nduka on the following day which was Saturday. She came without wasting time. Rose was washing cloths while Alex was in his room.
"You will follow me to my office" Mrs Nduka told Sandra.
"Ok, ma" She replied. She was wearing a blue sparkling gown with a hand bag.
They arrived at the office. Before then, Sandra saw people with different attire working in the company (Hotel). She was excited to be in such environment. She sat down in the office and waited for Mrs Nduka to say something.
Mrs Nduka leaned forward and said, "There is no vacant job, but i want you to start as a cleaner. You will be paid 25 thousand naira monthly. So, will you accept the job?"
"Yes, ma!" Sandra replied in excitement. Mrs Nduka called the chief cleaner and ordered her to show Sandra around. "You will resume work tomorrow" She told her.

5:00pm in the evening, Karina couldn't bear what Nath said the previous day. She needed to talk to someone. She wanted to snick out but her mother who was sitting outside became a stumbling block.
"Where are you going to?" The mum asked from the varander.
"Mummy, is my friend.." She paused scratching her head.
"Your friend again? What has she done this time around?"
"No oh, Mummy, is not that one. I mean my friend at BMS, i want to do assignment with her"
"Then where are your books?" The mum looked at her hands before Karina remembered she was actually lying. She ran inside and brought out unnecessary books..

Alex was sitting in the parlour when Karina knocked at the door and he opened the it.
"Good evening" She greeted, but Alex left the door open without responding to her greeting. That was unlike him. He went back to his seat.
"Is Rose around" Karina asked rubbing her fingers in thought because she didn't know what was going on in Alex's mind.
"She must be in her room" Alex replied without looking at her.
Karina entered into the room and sat on the bed without saying anything to Rose.
"O-girl, what's it?" Rose asked.
"Your brother is acting wired" She replied and Rose smiled.
"Why are you smiling?"
"He told me Nath broke-up with you. That's probably why he's acting wired"
"But is not my fault!" Karina raised her voice.
"Yes, is your fault!!" Rose's voice was higher. She continued, "It started when you began to accept gift from Benjamin without knowing how Nath would feel about it. And also the way you talk back at him simply because Benjamin showers you with gifts!"
Alex could hear them arguing from the sittingroom.
"Nath has no right to decide for me! Karina shouted back.
"Ok, fine, then why are you here?!" Rose asked with her hands folded in anger.
"Never mind, I'm leaving" Karina banged the door. Alex eyes were still fixed on the television when she walked out angrily.

At Mr Tonye's resident, Benjamin was in his room when Esther entered with a paper behind her. "Guess what I'm holding" She said.
"What's that?" Ben asked.
She brought out the paper and placed it on the bed.
"Wow, he finally gave it to you"
"Yes, and i love it"
Ben looked at her steadily.
"Why are u staring at me?" She asked.
"Do you also love him?"
"Who?"
"Jerry, the one that made this drawing"
Esther was silent for a moment, she looked at the drawing and said, "I don't really love him. I accepted him out of pity"
"Oh, you have already accepted him!" Ben exclaimed. "Well, that's your cross to carry" He concluded.

On the next Monday morning, school activities became hot. Teachers had started given test to students. WAEC examination was by the corner and all the SS3 students were getting equipped with all they needed to make a successful result. Rose and Catherine were still waiting for their partners in love to make a sexual approach or they will do it by themselves. This is because their minds were already corrupted.
Jerry had told Timothy about his victory over Esther's teenage heart.
"Are you sure that girl loves you?" Timothy asked.
"Yes, if not, then why did she accept me?"
"Many relationships are like that" Timothy concluded..
