There is a spirit behind everything, both good and bad. It is left for you to decide the one that will control you. So, as a teenager, Rose experienced and developed some feelings but was with the wrong people.
"Do you hate Nath?" Alex brought up a topic as both walked down the street to their house. Only storey buildings were found on that street both left and right part of it. So it was regarded and popularly known as 'BMS' (Big Men's Street).
"No, i don't hate him" Rose replied without looking at his brother.
"You behave strange with boys"
"Please, don't bother me this afternoon" Rose pushed their gate open. Malam, the gatewan was lying on a bench with his face up, he used a hat made of local craft and covered his face while his radio was beside him. "Small madam and oga, i welcome" Malam stood up from the bench.
"You too, i welcome" Rose replied him in away that made Malam realised that he left the gate open.
"Kai, small madam, i forget to lock the gate fa" He ran to lock the gate.
"Don't forget yourself one day o" Alex gave a smile.
"Walai, i no go forgetam myself" Malam returned back to his seat.

Nath got home as usual, he took off his uniform and went straight to the kitchen.
"Daddy, are you back?" Mrs Igwe, Nath's mother asked him. She doesn't call him by his name because she believed is an insult to her father since Nath was named after her father which is Nath's grandfather. So that's why she was fun of calling him, Daddy.
"Mummy, isn't lunch ready yet?" Nath washed his hands.
"Just in a while, son"
Nath could hear the boiling pot of soup and his mind went back to Rose. "Mummy, can i ask you something"
"Go ahead son"
"Can a girl hate a boy for no reason?"
The mother was silent for a while. She thought of what could make a 18 year old Nath to ask such question. "A girl cannot hate a boy for no reason, some girls that behave as if they don't like boys actually admire the them secretly" Mrs Igwe paused.
"But this girl doesn't like being around me and it makes me feel guilty"
"Is it only you or other boys?" Mrs Igwe turned the soup.
"I have never seen her with any boy" Nath replied.
Mrs Igwe thought about lesbianism but she must not mention it to Nath. She kept it by herself. "Try to ask her your offence" she told Nath.

Karina didn't bother much about Rose behavior towards boys because she thought she was only being a girl or trying to play tough. Her mind was as fresh as a fresh cucumber. She had no bad thought. The only thing she knew was boyfriend and girlfriend stuffs. She had several boys in mind who were making attempt to get her. "Timothy waved at me today. I can see how Benjamin also looked at me. Oh, how would i forget Nath?" All these thoughts went through her mind as she laid on the bed. She tried so hard not to think of Mr Frank that called her in his office and started asking her erotic questions. "Neppa!!" she shouted immediately the light came back. The mother didn't need to remind her again about her rumple cloth. She quickly ironed her uniform.

After dinner, Rose went into her room and locked the door. The room was a typical example of a teenage room. You could see Teddy Bear on the ending part of her bed, a closed wardrobe and a table with books and other teenage items. She laid on her, the Teddy Bear was gradually kicked off by her legs as she opened her laptop. She first opened her Email. "Hello, darling, how are you today...." She ignore the Email because it was sent by a man she met on the internet. She scroll down and saw erotic images sent to her by a girl. The girl had corrupted her mind which made her behave the way she does toward boys. She needed to chat with that particular girl on Facebook.
"Men are heartless, they can destroy your destiny and most especially they can really hot you so badly on bed....." Tashia, the Facebook girl tried to initiate her on their forbidden act. Rose being a teenager grew with that mentality and the same time having urges for sex.

On the next day, Timothy made up his mind to let Karina know his feelings.
Nath didn't bother much about Karina's love, he was the shy type when it comes to boyfriend and girlfriend things. But the thing that worried him the most was Rose attitude which he made up his mind to find out
