On the following day which was on Saturday, Alex woke up very early because he wanted to follow his mother to the police station. Mrs Nduka also woke up in respect to the promise she made to Alex and Mrs Luis.
"Alex, are you ready?" The mum asked as she came out to the sittingrum.
"Yes, mum!" Alex replied and also came out.
"Go and tell your sister to wash my clothes before i come back" The mum told Alex. Alex carried out the instruction as he was instructed. Rose didn't bother to wake up and start washing the cloths immediately because technology has made everyth easier to her-she was thinkin about the washing machine.

Mrs Nduka and Alex entered inside the car. She put the key in the ignition. The car refused to start. She tried severally but the result was negative.
"Malam, what happened to this car?" Mrs Nduka came down from the car.
"Aah, madam, me, i don't know oh" He replied and came closer. Alex was beginning to be disappointed. He came down from the car and joined her mother who opened the engine part of the vehicle.
"Mummy, lets take another car" Alex suggested.
"No, the other car has a fault too" The mother replied.
The time was ticking, the early morning sun was rising. Alex could see the reflection of the sun on the front glass of the car.
"Help me start the car" The mum told Alex. The car picked up after Alex tried several times.

Meanwhile, Mrs Luis had gone to the station. Mr Doye and his pregnant wife were also in the police station pleading and crying except Mrs Luis who was hoping to see Alex and his mother. She glanced towards the gate occasionally because there was no time. "What is keeping them nah?" She thought.
Alex and her mother encountered traffic jam on their way to the station. "Lagos roads are always busy from morning till night" Mrs Nduka murmured and activated the car horn severally but nobody bothered to care where she was going.

The time was 9:00am, the policemen grew impatient. Catherine and her friends were dragged outside for the journey to the high court as scheduled.
"Daddy, don't allow them to take me away oh" Elizabeth cried.
Catherine looked at her Mother in tears. Sandra also started crying.
"Move it!!" A policeman shouted and pushed them towards the car.
"Please, make una exercise small patience nah, my friend is coming" Mrs Luis told the policemen in tears. Catherine had seen that things had gone out of hand, she started crying. "Mummy, am sorry oh! Please beg them nah" She cried.
Mrs Doye sat at a corner crying helplessly. Her husband also sat beside her watching the three girls crying too as they were at back of the police vehicle ready to move. Suddenly, a black classic car drove inside the station. The glass was black, so nobody knew who they were until Alex came out with his mother. Catherine sighted him and a little hope fling into her teenage heart. Alex put his hands inside his pocket as he stared at Catherine who was crying.
"Thank God you are here" Mrs Luis told Mrs Nduka.
"Where is your daughter?" She asked.
"Look at her" Mrs Luis pointed at the vehicle. Mrs Nduka saw 3girls and was surprise. She looked at Alex. "Who are the other girls?" She asked.
"One of them is also my classmate but i don't know the other person" Alex replied.
The DPO ordered the policemen to stop when Mrs Luis entered to his office. Mr and Mrs Doye watched her as she entered into the office. "God, let this person be a messiah" They hopped

In the office, the DPO was able to recognise Mrs Nduka because her husband is a good friend of his.
"Are you not Mrs Nduka?" The DPO asked.
"I am"Mrs Nduka replied surprisingly.
"I am a good friend of your husband the one that he helped years ago. I came to your house last time he visited Nigeria" The DPO explained and Mrs Nduka was able to recognise him.
Mrs Nduka explained to him why she came, due to the friendship, the DPO released the girls after she had given him a cheque of 2million naira for the three  girls.
Meanwhile, Catherine and others were outside without knowing that they are free.
