Nath got his phone charged after three hours and needed to call Karina.
Karina was preparing for a lecture. She stood close to the window with a small mirror in her hand. One can tell that she was making-up by her posture alone talkless of the make-up materials scattered on her bed. She heard the vibration of her phone inside her bag. She dropped the mirror and brought out the phone. It was Nath calling, but she ignored it with a prolonged hissed. After few seconds, the phone vibrated again. She forced out a heavy breathe as she picked the call.
"What is it?!" She asked.
"Are you referring to me?"
"Who else am i speaking with if not you?"
Nath became domb, he couldn't figure out the cause of her attitude that moment.
"But at least, you should have greeted me before asking a rude question"
"Why won't you call it a rude question when a girl can have access to your phone to an extent of picking your call?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Please, don't ask me" She hissed.
Nath thought for a while and remember Prisca telling him that she mistakenly picked his call.
"Listen let me explain, a friend of my friend called, Prisca was with my phone and she mistakenly picked the call"
"What was she doing with your phone?"
"She was watching pictures, believe me"
"Then why did she off the phone after some seconds?"
"The..the battery went off immediately"
"I don't believe you"
Karina cut the call and picked her bag. Nath tried severally to call again but she ignored all his calls.

Lecture was over. Students troop outside the hall and Favour made sure she was close to Timothy. They headed towards another road where students were scanty.
"How did you see the lecture?" Timothy asked.
"My problem is this assignment this man gave to us"
"You can come around so that we figure out the answers"
"Thanks you, that's why i love you!"
Favour placed her hand on his waist.

Catherine was teaching her pupils. She stood before the board with a marker in her hand. The pupils were copying a note with all seriousness.
"Aunty your phone is ringing!" One of the pupils shouted and two boys who were in the front seat rushed to see the first person who will finally take the phone to their aunty.
"Don't break my phone oh" Catherine shouted at them as she moved towards the table. The pupil handed the phone to her and returned to his seat smiling heroically. Catherine took the phone outside and picked the call.
"Hello, good.." She thought of whether morning or evening because it was Alex.
"Good evening" She finally said.
"Evening, how are you?"
"I'm fine"
"Have you told your mother that you are pregnant?"
"No, I'm afraid. what of you?"
"I have not.. My problem is my father"
"So, what are we going to do?"
Alex was silent for a while.
"Nothing, until the pregnancy reveals itself. I want you to be strong, I'm ready to bear any consequences that it will bring"
"Okay, thank you. Please, focus on your studies too. I love you"
"I love you more"
The line went dead

Favour came over to Timothy's apartment as they planned. She placed her books on the reading table.
"I'm coming!" Timothy shouted from the bathroom. He came out with a towel tied around his waist. Favour saw the fresh skin of a young Timothy and she smiled.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Am i smiling or are you looking for trouble?"
Timothy laughed in a low voice.
They began to do the assignment. They were beside each other lying vertically on the bed. They concentrated until they came to an answer which they believed was the correct one.
"So, bring your money" Timothy said.
"For what?"
"For the assignment well done"
"How can i pay my own husband?" Favour jokingly said and held him by the neck.
"I don't joke with money oh" He replied jokingly too.
They were lying with their face up and having jokes argument and conversation. Favour's legs touched his legs occasionally.
"Neither do i joke with money" Favour said and silence creeped in. She adjusted sideways and Timothy looked at her. They tried to kiss, but were interrupted by a phone call. Rose was calling.
