Even a blind person could see the glowing smiles on Marvelous' face as she sat with Raymond in the resident of G-square, her late parents' house. An electric bulb which hung on the wall made her look more beautiful.
"Get dressed and lets go" Raymond told her.
"But, honey, I'm cared" she said with a sad and worried face. Raymond waited for her to say the reason for her anxiety.
"I don't know if your parents will be happy to see me" Marvelous said.
"Don't worry; my parents are not like that. Moreover, I told them before i came here"
"You did?"
"Yes, now, go dress up"
Marvelous walked inside her room smiling. Raymond never thought that Emmanuella will also be in their house. "I will propose to Marvelous in the presence of my parents" he concluded in his mind.

Meanwhile, Ella arrived at the resident of Mr. Thomson. She was wearing a milky gown which she supported with one of her hands as she came down from her car. Her beauty was like that of a marine goddess, even Musa, their gateman wished to have her in bed. She walked inside and found Mrs. Thomson in the parlor.
"Good evening, ma" she greeted.
"Hello, my darling" Mrs. Thomson stood up and hugged her.
Suddenly, her husband began to walk down the stairs. "Hi, my little angel" he said walking down.
Ella turned and greeted him too.
"Where is Raymond?" Mr. Thomson asked.
"I don't know, i thought he went to bring Ella" the wife replied.
Hearing that, Ella's heart skipped. "Did he go to bring someone?" she asked.
"Yes, someone he invited for the dinner" Mr. Thomson replied.
"We both thought he went to pick you" the wife added.
Before, the husband could bring out his phone to call Raymond; they heard the sound of the gate cracked opened.
"That must be him" he said and put back the phone.

Marvelous could see a mighty building as she came out from the car. She wore a black short skirt and also a milky top. Raymond held her hand and they entered.
Entering the house, Raymond saw Ella and his parents staring at them. Marvelous' eyes caught with that of Ella instantly. Emmanualla's presence was unexpected to Raymond, then he said, "Dad, mum, this is Marvelous my friend" he placed his hand on her shoulder.
Marvelous could see Mrs. Thomson squeezed her face. Therefore, her heart sank into her stomach.
"What's your name dear?" Mr. Thomson asked moving closer to marvelous.
"Marvelous Gabriel" she replied.
"Nice to meet you"
"Thank you"
"We may now proceed to the dining table" Mrs. Thomson said and they all moved to the dining.
Ella was still speechless glancing at Raymond occasionally as they sat in the dining room. She was sitting beside Raymond while Marvelous sat opposite them. She could see all types of food on the table, and they began to eat.
"Baby, where is your friend from?" Ella asked Raymond and Marvelous became surprise of the name she called him.
"She's from Texas" he replied.
"Who's your father?" the mother also asked looking at Marvelous.
"Oh, my father is late" she replied and began to eat.
"So sorry about that" Mr. Thomson said.
"Thank you.
After few seconds of silent eating, Mr. Thomson exhaled and said, "Son, we have made arrangement on how you will get a job and eventually get married to Ella"
Marvelous was shocked to hear that, but pretended looking at Raymond.
"Yes, son" the mother said. "I can't wait to carry my grandchild" she added.
"No, we are not going to give you a grandchild but grandchildren" Ella supported and they laughed. "Right, baby?" she said looking at Raymond who was staring at Marvelous. He could see her eyes wet with tears. Then he said, "No, dad, I'm not ready for marriage now"
"Baby, what are you talking about?" Ella's face changed.
"But that's what you always wanted right from time" Mrs. Thomson said. The husband who had been quiet looking at Marvelous shedding tears asked her, "My dear, are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm...I'm.. fine" she replied with a trembling voice and everyday stared at her. "Please, excuse me, i have to go now" she said and walked out briskly.
"Marvelous!" Raymond shouted and stood to run after her but Ella held him back. "Where do you think you are going?" she asked.

Raymond looked at her angrily. "Get your hands off me!" he shouted and dragged her hands off....
