In the hotel room, Sandra narrated on how Kenneth, her brother tried to kill her baby, Choice, how she was rescued by Nancy and Marvelous and how Kenneth died. She also narrated the story of Frank and apologized to Williams for getting married to another man-Frank. "I lost all hope to see you again" she said looking at him. "It is as a result that i got beaten and a damaged face. Please, forgive me, i never knew I will see you again" she tried to kneel down, but Williams rushed her. "It doesn't matter to me" he said dragging her up. "What that matters to me most is that I have seen you again. Thank God Frank has been put behind bars.."

Angela watched them from a corner smiling.

"So, we need to get back to UK" Williams said touching her hair.

"Really?" Sandra asked.

"Yes, baby"

"We shall get your papers ready by tomorrow then we start our journey the next day" Angela said from the corner.

"Chai.. Thank you so much" Sandra said and went to hug her. "You are indeed a true friend" she added.

　

THE NEXT DAY

Marvelous summoned Amanda as a friend. Both were in the sitting room sitting on the cushion. Amanda could see Marvelous looking the same way she was when her brother, Michael died. Her eyes became red and her heart needed a supper glue.

"You sounded so desperate on the phone, and I don't like the way you are looking. What is it?" Amanda asked her, but she kept quiet. "Is it about Raymond?" she was still inquisitive.

"Yes" Marvelous replied with a low voice.

"What has he done?"

"I broke up with him"

Amanda was dumbfounded, she pretended as if she didn't hear what she said. "O-girl, wait, wait first" she said and prostrated forward. "You mean you of all people broke up with Raymond?" she asked.

"Yes"

"Why" she became serious.

"He cheated on me and has impregnated a girl"

"Oh my God! Do you amen what you are saying?"

"Yes"

Amanda folded her hands in surprise. "But wait oh, who is this girl?" she asked.

"Her name is Ella, she came back from Australia a month ago. According to Raymond, they were childhood friends"

"But wait oh, a month ago Raymond was still on his youth service"

"Yes, I learnt that the girl met him there"

"You mean she traveled all the way from Lagos to Anambra state just to.." Amanda became surprise.

"She's rich now" Marvelous replied.

Amanda had known many tricks of some girls because she sometimes live a naughty life and mingled with bad girls apart from Marvelous. So she thought for a while with her finger on her lips. Even Marvelous wondered why she was in a deep thought.

"What's it?" she asked.

"O girl, me I go talk oh if you allow me to talk" Amanda spoke in pidgin English and Marvelous looked at her.

"If you ask me, I will tell you that Raymond is not responsible for the pregnancy"

"How?" Marvelous asked.

"Because any girl that is as desperate as going such a far distance to Anambra to meet a guy has something in mind"

Marvelous was becoming confused. "What do you mean?" she asked still looking at her.

"I believe the girl was pregnant before she met Williams" Amanda said boldly.

"But they had sex"

"Yes, they may have sex but Raymond may not be the owner of the pregnancy" Amanda concluded..

　

Mrs. Dickson, Ella's mother noticed Ella's strange behavior after she ran out from the dining table behaving like someone who wanted to throw up. Then she met her in her room coming out from the bathroom.

"Ella, are you okay?"

"Mummy, I'm not feeling too well"

"What's the problem?"

Ella kept quiet looking at the floor and the mother moved closer and looked straight into her eyes.

"Ella are you pregnant?" she asked, but Ella kept quiet.

"Talk to me, I'm your mother you can't hide it forever"

"Mummy, yes, I'm pregnant" she replied and adjusted backwards.

"Who is responsible?" the mother asked surprisingly.

"Who else except Raymond?"

"How many months?"

"A month"

The mother became quiet for a moment. "After talking to your father, we proceed to your marriage immediately because you can't bring shame to this family" she left the room angrily.

　

Marvelous was more confused as she thought quietly. She exhaled occasionally with her hands folded. "How sure are you on what you just said?" she asked Amanda.

"No, not that I'm sure but I'm only saying that it's possible" she replied.

"So, what do i do now?"

"Nothing, you have broken up with him already"

Marvelous looked at her for a solution.

"I will like to talk to Raymond if you permit me" Amanda said.

"You can but.." she paused.

"I understand" Amanda clarified.

　

5:16PM

Sandra had prepared for her journey back to UK the next day. She headed to Nancy's house with Williams and Angela that evening. While at the same time, Mrs. Dickson went into her husband's room to discuss about the new development with him.

On the other hand, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson became worried why Raymond had not eaten through out the day and had been indoor without talking to anyone. Therefore, Mrs. Thompson went back to his door and began to knock.
