The day was getting dark as Emmanuella drove to Marvelous' house. She couldn't bear the jealousy of Raymond giving his attention to Marvelous more than her. The half moon was visible in the sky which made the night less dark. Marvelous saw the ray of light from her car through a window, then she began to come out boldly knowing very well that it was Ella. Both met at the door.

"What are you doing here?" Marvelous asked her.

"So, after warning you, you went ahead mingling yourself with my fiancé"

"Who's your fiancé? You should take a good look at this, okay?!" Marvelous exposed the engagement ring for her to see, and Ella laughed clapping her hands together which got Marvelous worried.

"So you are being deceived by a mere ring than someone who is carrying his child?" Ella said looking at her face.

Marvelous was embarrassed. She suddenly became quiet trying to figure out what she meant.

"What do you mean by that?" she asked.

"Listen my dear, you better back off with your wretched life because I'm carrying Raymond's baby" she could see tears running down from Marvelous' eyes.

"Are you surprise that he cheated on you?" Ella asked in a mockery way. "Yes, that was a month and few weeks ago when i visited him in Anambra state and he gave it to me as i wanted, ehen.. Feeling jealous? So back off before I kill you!!"

Marvelous started crying seriously and shamefully closed the door. Ella laughed in a mockery way and entered her car. "Idiot!" she concluded and drove off.

Nancy, who was coming back from the hotel where Williams and Angela were with Sandra saw the car driving off. She was able to recognize the owner. Then she hurried inside and met Marvelous crying on the cushion.

"Oh dear, I hope she didn't do anything stupid" she asked.

"Aunt, I'm finished" Marvelous cried and laid her head on her chest.

"God forbid! What is it?"

"Aunt, Raymond cheated on me. He has impregnated that girl... Ella"

"Oh my goodness! When? How did it happen?"

"Aunt, I don't know oh"

"What nonsense! A guy can not mess up the life of my sister like this" Nancy shouted.

Immediately, Raymond began to call. Marvelous glanced at it and ignored it.

"Pick the call" Nancy told her.

"No, I don't want to see him again"

"No, he has to answer some questions" Nancy said and picked the call telling him to come immediately.

　

8:30pm

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson had waited Raymond to come back home because it was already getting late. Mr. Thompson stood in his hugeness with his too hands behind him.

"You see your son, if i don't teach him a lesson, he will never realize that I am his father" he told his wife angrily.

On the other hand, Raymond, who was going back home from Henry's house turned and headed to Marvelous' house after receiving the phone call. His heart was beating faster and his head seemed to him like it wanted to explode. He quickly ran out of the car and opened the door without knocking. Then he rushed Marvelous when he saw her crying.

"Get your hands off me!" Marvelous exclaimed and stood up. "You he-goat!" she added.

"What are you talking about?!" Raymond asked stretching his hands.

"Raymond" Nancy called from the cushion. "Is Ella pregnant for you?" she asked but he became quiet.

"Did you have sex with her in Anambra or not?!" Marvelous was still boiling.

"Honey, listen to me, I'm sorry.."

"Oh my God! So you really did?" Marvelous said and broke down in tears. "Is it because i have always refused you of sex? Is that why you treat me like this?" she began to cry seriously.

"It was a temptation, trust me i never wanted to do it"

"You know what? You disgust me. Leave my house and never come back" she pulled the ring and threw it to him in a way that it touched him and then fell on the floor.

"Marvelous, you are the one i love"

"No, Raymond, leave my house now!" she shouted and began to push him. She finally pushed him outside and locked the door.

"Marvelous! Marvelous, i beg you!" Raymond began to cry. "Marvelous please don't leave me, i beg you. Remember you promise you will never leave me. Marvelous!"

Meanwhile, marvelous laid on Nancy's chest hearing his voice and crying. "Aunt, my heart is shattered" she said crying.

"Is okay dear" Nancy felt her pains.

Raymond got tired of shouting and crying. Then he sluggishly entered his car and drove home.

　

9:30pm

Mr. Thompson glanced at his wrist watch occasionally in anger. While his wife sat on a cushion imagining what will happen if Raymond comes back. Suddenly, the sound of the gate was heard opened. Raymond walked in still having some tears particles on her eyes and his shirt wasn't buttoned. His hair looked unkempt. Even the father was surprise to see his son looking like a mad person. Before he could say anything, Raymond ran up stairs into his room and locked the door. His frustrated look alone rendered the father speechless.

"I don't know what has been going on between him and Ella" the wife murmured.
